Would you have liked to see the whole thread of the season play out - see the movie they were working on [Beverly Hills Gun Club] actually get made, go to the premiere? Had it been decided that the movie would be successful? No. It was pretty much written week by week. But they should have made it a success so Peter Dragon could have gotten even more pompous.

In one of the commentaries, the writers mention they got notes from the network that said you had to make Peter "more likable." Yeah, in one episode, he dropped the kid who had German measles. The note was, "never again."

You guys were originally slated to air on HBO. It was [show creator] Chris Thompson's greed that got in the way.

If you had gotten on HBO, would the show have run longer? I'd have hoped so. It wouldn't have been opposite Friends, you know? We could have shown nudity. People always watch something if they can get boobs out of it. That's the old reliable.
