Beyerdynamic to Unveil Ergonomic Earphones at CES

Headphone specialist beyerdynamic has announced plans to introduce new ergonomically shaped earphones at CES 2019, which opens January 8 in Las Vegas.

Designed to ensure a comfortable yet snug fit while on the go, the new Soul Byrd ($89) earphones boast flat housings that also make them “ideal for relaxing or sleeping without any discomfort.” Five different-size silicone ear tips are provided to ensure a secure fit with any ear.

Outside noise is all but eliminated thanks to a closed design and snug fit, while flexible, high-quality cables keep tangling and cable noise to a minimum, according beyerdynamic.

The earphones’ three-button remote control and microphone are compatible with Android and iOS devices, providing flexibility with media playback, phone calls, and voice-enabled virtual assistants, such as Google Assistant and Siri.

Supplied accessories include a detachable 4-foot minijack cable with a clip and a hard-shell carrying case.
