We're giving away a BDP-93, valued at $499, which is widely considered to be among the finest disc players available today at any price.

OPPO seems nice but are we going to be installing DVD's into a machine anymore??

Would love to win the Oppo so I can again listen to SACD in the LR again. I have a Marantz universal DVD player in the BR and an old Sony Blu-ray player in the LR with no more room in the AV cabinet.
Have read the rave reviews of Oppo's picture and audio quality and dying to get one.

It's been a long time coming with my progress on completing my HT setup. The Oppo would be a great welcome to my progress. All would be left is a plasma HDTV and an A/V Receiver!

I own a BDP-80 but I always regreted not getting the 93. So, give me one will ya. The 80 is sweet so I know the 93 the will just be sweeter! Really, I want to win this player...so give it to me, alright????

From one reader to another,

I would sure love to have this Oppo player, I've been dreaming about this player for quite awhile now. However I have to put things off as I'm getting married this August 20, 2011. Plus I recently closed on my new home so my budget is not a whopping $0.00.

This would make my simple theatre even better... I currently have a 46" Sharp D64 series and my Onkyo TXSR705 with a Mirage Uni-theatre and Omnsi sat surrounds and Omni S8.

How would this 3D player work with a 3D tv of a different brand? Do you just need to have glasses that match the tv brand to play 3D content from any 3D BR player?

I have a Pioneer Elite PRO-111FD and am using a PS3 as my Blu-ray player. It's like driving a Bugatti Veyron and only going 200 instead of 250. I have a large collection of Blu-rays that I would love to see reach their full potential! Thanks. Fingers Crossed!

Oppo BDP-93 Disc Player plays multiple formats like AVCHD, MP4, DivX, DivX Plus HD, MKV, FLAC, and more is just what I have be looking for. I just throw out my old DVD/DIVX Player because it could not handle the new formats, higher resolution videos and did not have a USB port. This would be great to start a new home theater can any one say movie marathon night. All I need now is a LED LCD TV and 7.1 Receiver and I will be in movie watching heaven.

Last Oct, I bought their BDP-83. Yes, I knew eventually they'd introduce 3D, but I was convinced then, as now, that 3D could never release the quantity or quality of films that came before it. The fact the 93 costs the same as the 83 does make me wonder, though.
