Night's Fave 5 DVDs The Godfather "I was blown away by the Godfather DVD, which has no menu. I was like, 'Of course. The greatest movie ever made needs no f--ing introduction.' It just starts. You sit your ass down and shut up. I love that they did that. That's classic."

Psycho "I might be getting obvious here, but . . ."

Fight Club "Isn't that the one with all the bad reviews in the booklet? Now see-that gets you into the antisocial mentality of the movie before you even watch it. You become, like, 'Yeah, man-screw you if you didn't like the movie. We love it-we bought the DVD!' If that enhances the movie, that's great. There's no way [director] David Fincher didn't have a hand in that—there's just no way. That's not some marketing guy putting that together; that's Fincher for sure. That's awesome-and that's just the packaging."

Seven "I think Seven was pretty good, but I have a few versions of it on DVD. There's a bunch of those out there."

The Exorcist "The sound on there, I got scared to death. Not the new DVD version-the original one. There's something fundamentally wrong about redoing it. I'm very old school. I get really offended by people who go and tweak a classic after 25 years. You know, don't do that."
