This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of the woofers) frequency response of the BG BX-4850 subwoofer (blue trace).

The BX-4850’s close-miked response in Movie mode, normalized to the level at 80 hertz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 26 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 20 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 240 Hz with the Crossover control set to THX.—MJP
