The Diamond 8 Series speakers from Wharfedale aim to give you brilliant home theater sound for less than the cost of a precious stone. The entry model, the Diamond 8.1 ($200 a pair), measures 7 7/8 x 11 5/8 x 7 1/8 inches and has a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter (used throughout the series) and a 5 1/8-inch long-throw woofer; frequency response is rated as 55 Hz to 20 kHz ±3 dB.
