Marantz Debuts Horizon and Grand Horizon: Luxury Wireless Speakers
Both speakers feature a unique circular form that incorporates Marantz's iconic porthole motif, reimagined as the centerpiece of their design. Wrapped in Marantz Radiance 360 Seamless Ecofiber, a sustainable fabric made from recycled ocean plastics, they have a tactile feel and visually provocative appearance.
Available in three finishes—Midnight Sky, Moon Ray, and Marantz Champagne—each speaker is complemented by a color-matched natural marble base. For flexible placement, an optional American walnut tripod floor stand is available for the Horizon, and wall brackets are offered for both models.
Sound Engineering
Designed to fill even large rooms with full-range sound, the Horizon and Grand Horizon utilize an array of high-frequency and midrange drivers radiating outward from a central subwoofer. This arrangement ensures an enveloping listening experience.
Both models sport proprietary Marantz Rise amplification, featuring highly responsive and thermally efficient GaN FET technology. The Horizon delivers 310W of FTC-rated power (745W peak), while the Grand Horizon offers 370W FTC-rated power (860W peak). Both models use Marantz Gravity drive units with neodymium magnets, for accuracy, responsiveness, and low distortion.
Listening Experience
Through the Marantz Mirage DSP, accessible via the HEOS app, users can tailor the sound to their preferences. Options are available to adjust clarity, spaciousness, and warmth. For purists, the Sound Master mode allows listening exactly as intended by Marantz sound master Yoshinori Ogata.
Equipped with proximity sensors, the speakers come to life as you approach. The Marantz AuraControl interface uses concealed LEDs and touch-sensitive controls around the central subwoofer for seamless volume adjustment. The illuminated ring displays the volume level with markings inspired by the classic Marantz Star logo.
Comprehensive Connectivity
Built on the HEOS wireless music platform, the Horizon and Grand Horizon support streaming from services like Amazon Music, Deezer, Spotify, and TIDAL. They include Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth for easy connection with mobile devices.
As part of the HEOS ecosystem, the speakers can integrate into a multiroom setup. Pairing two units creates a powerful stereo system suitable for large spaces.

Stereo RCA, Optical, HDMI eARC, USB-C
Dolby Decoding: Onboard decoding ensures compatibility with Dolby Atmos content via HDMI.
