I may have missed the press conference but I had a much more intimate and informative demonstration of the Linksys (from Cisco) Wireless Home Audio system during the Digital Experience.

it consists of a group of products designed to access digital music from your PC, the Internet, or a networked storage device such as the new Linksys Media Hub, which is expandable depending on how much storage you require. There is a wireless remote controller so you can be anywhere in the house and choose the music you want, in any room that has a Linksys Conductor (passive) or Director (includes amplification). There is even an iPod dock making it possible to stream directly from the iPod in any room as well.
