The Lemon California Roll Solar Speaker is Like a Ray of Sunshine

Knowing that nothing puts a cloud over a sunny day at the beach like running out of power for your speakers, Lemon Technology, a San Diego-based audio company has a new Bluetooth speaker powered by sunshine. The California Roll is a small waterproof (IPX-7) speaker with a big sound. With 33 solar panels on the back, the CA Roll will play for up to 15 hours on a single charge.

The California Roll features two active and 4 passive radiators. It’s available in a variety of colors and a choice of cloth or metal grill covering. It has a 5,000 mAh battery that charges completely with about 15 hours of sunlight. It can be used as a power bank to charge other devices via its USB port. The good news is that it is always charging even while playing, adding 40% in about 7 hours, for about 20 hours of playback on a sunny day. That’s one heck of a beach party.

The California Roll comes with an AC wall adapter (knowing not everyone lives in sunny California) with UK and European adapters to be the perfect travel companion on all your worldly adventures. It uses Bluetooth and easily pairs multiple speakers for true stereo, and can pair with three phones so everyone can play DJ. It comes with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm so you can get a wired connection from your laptop or phone.

The California Roll will be available for $249 starting in April, 2017 at Lemon-California.com.
