Klipsch Launches Exciting Soundbar Lineup, WiSA-Ready Wireless Speakers, More

Audio icon Klipsch made an impressive showing at CES 2019 with an exciting new lineup of soundbars that harken back to the brand's horn-loaded speaker technology, along with new WiSA wireless speakers, and a new lineup of headphone and in-ear earphones.

Klipsch showcased five new soundbars that range in width from 40” up to 54”, and all can be purchased with or without a coordinating subwoofer. Prices will range from $299 up to $1599 for the largest soundbar bundled with a sub. The 40” Bar 40G comes with Google Assistant, while the larger soundbars add Alexa, AirPlay 2 and DTS Virtual X. The largest soundbar, the Klipsch Bar 54A includes Dolby Atmos processing with discrete elevation drivers to give an illusion of height. Most models will be available this spring, although a few won't hit the market until Fall, 2019.

Klipsch also debuted four new headphones in the T5 headphone product range. All of them use Klipsch's patented ear tips with a unique oval shape that improves bass response and noise isolation with a secure yet comfortable fit. Included in the lineup are the T5 True Wireless earbuds, a sports-themed version, a pro-reference model and a more affordable wired option. The T5 headphones will range in price from $59 to $199 and all models will be available this spring.

Rounding out the new product announcements is an array of WiSA high-resolution wireless speakers. They are compatible with WiSA-ready TV's, gaming consoles and computers connected via USB. It should be noted that these new 5.1 systems will retail for about half of what the first generation Klipsch wireless home theater speakers cost. These speakers will be available this spring.

Klipsch is clearly looking towards the future while keeping an eye on the technologies that made them a respected leader in speaker design.
