HiFiMan Ananda-BT Headphones Arrive

Headphone-maker HiFiMan is now shipping its new Ananda-BT, a Bluetooth version of its popular Ananda planar magnetic headphones.

At $999, the Ananda-BT is a mid-price model in the HiFiMan lineup, which peaks with the $6,000 Susvara headphones. According to the company, the new cans are compatible with a range of high-resolution Bluetooth codecs – everything from HWA (Hi-Res Wireless Audio) and LDAC (Lossless Digital-to-Analog Converter) to aptX and aptX HD.

“The original Ananda is one of our most popular models to date,” said Dr. Fang Bian, Founder and CEO, HiFiMan. “When it came time to develop a wireless model, we focused our attention on creating a Bluetooth version with identical sonic characteristics and physical comfort to the original. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”

Users can expect up to 10 hours of playback time from the Ananda-BT, which features an on-board jitter-free USB DAC and headphone amplifier and comes with a plug & play microphone for use during online gaming. More information on HiFiMan’s latest headphones can be found at the company’s website.
