Devialet Launches Phantom Ultimate Wireless Speakers

“We are reaffirming our status as a luxury pioneer in audio with this new launch. We invite listeners to experience sound with unprecedented intensity, clarity, and depth, coupled with our visionary approach to design,” said Jacques Demont, Devialet CEO.
The 108 dB version debuts a new platform with four recently registered patents. Hardware updates include revised woofers, a midrange aimed at reducing resonance, a new tweeter, and 32-bit/96 kHz processing. Claimed frequency response is 14 Hz–35 kHz (±6 dB), and total amplification is rated at 1,100W. Usability changes add four touch controls on the top panel, an updated DOS3 (Devialet Operating System) software architecture, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Phantom Ultimate 98 dB features a smaller footprint. Devialet rates it at 400W total amplification with 32-bit/96 kHz processing and an 18 Hz–25 kHz (±6 dB) response. A co-spherical wideband driver is designed to deliver a wider soundstage, says the company.
Both models support solo, stereo, and multi-room setups and work with AirPlay, Google Cast, and are Roon Ready. Streaming options include Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and UPnP, managed in the Devialet app, which offers Music, Podcast, and Cinema modes along with over-the-air updates.
ADH New Gen (Analog Digital Hybrid) combines a Class A control stage with Class D power; Devialet says refinements extend high-frequency linearity in the 108 dB model to 35 kHz and improve energy and thermal management. SAM (Speaker Active Matching) monitors drivers in real time, HBI (Heart Bass Implosion) underpins the low-end claims, and AVL (Adaptive Volume Level), first seen in the Dione soundbar, dynamically adjusts perceived loudness by content type.
The Opéra de Paris editions continue Devialet’s collaboration with the Opéra national de Paris. Gilding is applied by Ateliers Gohard, the workshop known for restoration work at the Palais Garnier.
