AOC Cuts Price on 29-Inch UltraWide HD Monitor to $399 Through June 30
AOC announced that the price of its Q2963PM UltraWide 29-inch LED-backlit LCD monitor has been reduced to $399 through the end of June at Best Buy, Newegg, TigerDirect, and other retailers. The regular suggested retail price is $499
Perfect for displaying ultra-widescreen 2.35:1and 2.40:1 movies without bars above and below the image, the 21:9 aspect-ratio monitor has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1080 and is equipped with DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI inputs, built-in speakers, picture-in-picture, and Mobile High Definition Link (MHL) for displaying content from MHL-compatible smartphones and tablets. Screen+ productivity software that allows the screen to be split for viewing multiple documents simultaneously is also included.
The Q2963PM is Energy Star-qualified, meaning it uses about 30 percent less energy than standard units. The monitor is said to consume 26 watts when turned on and 0.5 watts in standby mode.
