AC/DC PWR/UP Pop Ups Will Arise in Every City on the Final Leg of the Legendary Australian Rock Band’s 2026 North American Stadium Tour

For those about to rock, AC/DC salutes you! Not only that, but AC/DC PWR/UP Pop Ups will open in every city on the upcoming final leg of the legendary Australian rock band’s 2026 North American stadium tour that commences a week from today on July 10, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Before I delve into what’s what with these cool A/F Pop Ups, some quick background details. The PWR/UP World Tour takes its name from AC/DC’s November 2020 studio album that’s also known in its fully spelled out form: Power Up. I have PWR/UP on both 180g opaque-yellow vinyl (Columbia 19439725561) and CD (Columbia 19439744632), and it hits as hard as you’d expect — just as the band does every night onstage.

When I saw AC/DC’s The Razors Edge tour back on November 11, 1990, at the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey, it was, at that time, the loudest show I’d ever been to (thank you, earplugs). The next time I saw AC/DC on the Black Ice tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 13, 2008, it was still powerfully loud — but also still damn good nonetheless.

As per the official press release on the MT/TR, er, matter at hand, it all began with AC/DC’s long-awaited — and quite well-received — return to the stage at Power Trip in California in 2023, and they’ve since sold out dozens of stadiums across four continents in the interim. As the tour now enters its final leg, the AC/DC PWR/UP Pop Ups are intended to (in their words) “give fans a place to gather before show day and be part of the high voltage energy surrounding the tour.”

Each location is expected to feature exclusive pop-up merchandise, AC/DC-themed food and drink, iconic props, custom visuals, interactive photo moments, ticket giveaways, PWR/UP Fan Preview events, and the opportunity to enter to win a guitar signed by AC/DC guitar maestro Angus Young.

City-specific locations, hours, menus, giveaways, Fan Preview details, and merch updates will be found/announced at pwruptour.acdc.com, where fans can register for the chance to attend. In each city on this wrap-up tour leg, 100 fans will be selected by a random drawing to enter the venue early alongside press and invited guests, and they will also receive a free exclusive gift created only for that preview event.

The AC/DC PWR/UP Pop Ups will feature a curated selection of exclusive merchandise and fan collectibles, including premium apparel, accessories, posters, limited-edition items, and pieces created specifically for that particular Pop Up. Each city will also offer early access to a limited quantity of the official city event shirt and poster, available at the Pop Up one day before they go on sale online or at the stadium where the PWR/UP show is taking place.

Each AC/DC PWR/UP Pop Up will be shaped by the city and venue hosting it, which are said to give every stop its own local character while staying connected to the larger tour. Custom AC/DC-themed food and drink menus are intended to make each location feel like a true pre-show gathering place, with select stops offering specialty menu items and custom collectible cups.

It’s also worth noting that select locations may also feature live performances from local School of Rock house bands, and offer set-up spots for local radio broadcasts as well.

Mock Stage Photo Moment: Fans can step onto the Pop Up’s mock stage setup, pose with a replica guitar, and get PWRD/UP in front of the AC/DC backdrop, bringing the stadium-tour energy into the fan meet-up space.

Exclusive Pop-Up Merch: The AC/DC PWR/UP Pop Up features exclusive merchandise available onsite, including city event pieces, tour-inspired apparel, and limited items created for fans attending the Pop Up.

Lightning Bolt Display: Oversized red lightning bolts frame the PWR/UP Pop Up display, creating a bold visual centerpiece with AC/DC artwork, red lighting, and official tour-inspired decor throughout the space.

Hell’s Bell Prop: Fans can get up close to one of the Pop Up’s iconic AC/DC props, including the massive Hell’s Bell display, a nod to one of the band’s most legendary live moments (and a certain Back in Black-era song title too, for that matter).

Merchandise Display: The Pop Up includes an official AC/DC merchandise display with apparel, accessories, and fan-favorite designs presented in a red-lit retail environment built for the tour.
