Dynamic Mounting Down and Out/Up and Over TV Mounts
There’s nothing like being able to position a wall-mounted TV for optimal viewing, which, of course, is impossible—unless it’s affixed to a flexible bracket like the “Down and Out” or “Up and Over” mounts from Dynamic.
Screen Saver: The patented mounts let you pull the TV away from the wall and move it down (or up) 32 inches, making it ideal for TVs mounted over fireplaces (or concealed in a low cabinet) where the screen is too high (or low) for comfortable viewing. The mounts handle 40- to 80-inch flat-panel TVs that weigh up to 120 pounds, and each mount can be tilted 7 degrees in its top position. Swivel versions are available for greater flexibility. Price: $499; swivel version $569

Triad DSi Series In-Wall Speakers
Triad describes the engineering principle behind its DSi Series speakers as a “vibrating soundboard.” Instead of using traditional (read: bulky) cone drivers, small transducers attached to an aluminum honeycomb produce sound by vibrating a paper skin covering the structure.
Roll Over: The coolest part is that you actually replace a section of drywall with the 15.75 x 12 x 1.6-inch panel and spackle/paint over it to make the speakers disappear. New arrivals to the DSi line include the DSi-1 ($500), DSi-2 dual-channel stereo model ($700), and the higher-performing DSi-3 ($700), each covered by a 10-year limited warranty. Rated sensitivity is 83 decibels (1 watt, 1 meter) for the DSi-1 and DSi-2 and 84 dB for the DSi-3.

It’s been 25 years since Niles introduced one of the first multisource/multizone audio systems, and the company is still at it. The IP-based MRC-6430 system delivers music from up to six sources to as many as six zones, and Niles says it can be configured in minutes using a tablet or PC.
Any Source, Any Time: Whether you’re operating the system via a touchpanel, traditional remote, or using the Auriel iOS/Android app, you can control and listen to any source in any room. The app puts controls for volume, bass, and treble at your fingertips and displays album art, playlists, and other info. The system delivers 30 watts per channel to each zone and can be set up to mute automatically when the doorbell rings (optional interface required). Price: $2,000
