GoldenEar Atmos Demo, Multi-view Video on Tap for CEDIA Expo

2015 CEDIA Expo opens on October 15 and we’re getting a steady flow of invites and news teasers. Two recent ones caught my attention…

GoldenEar Technology plans to conduct a full-blown “stealth” Dolby Atmos demo using its Invisa HTR 7000s in-ceiling speakers as front left, right, center, and height speakers, the Invisa MPX in-walls as rear surrounds, and the new SuperSub XXL to handle bass duties.

“This complete, super-stealth system is simply a mind-boggling experience,” says GoldenEar founder Sandy Gross. “Our feeling is that the concept of a virtually invisible high-performance Atmos system would be very appealing to a large group of potential consumers, who would like the ultimate performance that Atmos can deliver, but at the same time, are lifestyle oriented, and would like their system to disappear.”

Wyre Storm says it’s going all out by creating a Mancave to showcase new 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) products, among them a multitasking processor/switcher that enables up to four analog and digital AV sources to be displayed and simultaneously arranged in any size or configuration on an HD or UHD display.

More to come on these products and more when our coverage begins on Wednesday, October 14.
