Had a label printer that drew more power than expected and kept crashing mid-job. Turned out the issue wasn’t the device—it was the cheap charger I was using. While sorting it out, I got in touch with brother customer support to confirm the required specs, and they explained the wattage limits clearly. Once I swapped in a proper power supply, it ran smoothly. Shows how much difference the right charger makes, especially for gear that looks low-power but needs stability.

DarbeeVision’s Darblet Gets a Big Brother
DarbeeVision introduced a follow-up to its popular Darblet video enhancer at a Media Preview gathering on the eve of CEDIA Expo 2014.
“We decided to create the DVP-5100CIE—CIE for custom installer edition—to satisfy the needs of the home theater installer/integrator,” said Larry Pace, president. “We made it rack mountable and added multi-speed USB technology that allows you to put any USB device into it for reprogramming.
“We also put Phase HD technology on both the HDMI input and output so we now have an HDMI interconnect solution that can go up to 50 meters and, no matter where you put it in the video chain, you won’t get dropouts or degradation in the video signal.”
Retail price of the DVP-5100 is $499.
