Anthem Electronics demonstrated its upgraded version of the Statement D2 pre-amp/processor/tuner. The upgraded D2 includes 8 HDMI v1.3c inputs with 2 outputs, a new Sigma Designs video scaler and new audio decoders for DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.

Get 'em while they're hot! The upgraded D2 will initially be priced at $7500, the same price as the current model, although Anthem expects the price to increase. They are also offering upgrades on existing Statement D2 processors with the price expected to be between $2500 and $3000. The Statement D2 is an outstanding component and the upgraded model can only be better.
