Polk Audio today introduced a new flagship line of speakers it says are the “most sophisticated and intensively engineered speakers” the company has ever produced.
The latest soundbar to emerge from Polk Audio is the $499 MagniFi 2, a 2.1 model featuring a six-driver array (four 1-inch by 3-inch full-range drivers, two 0.75-inch tweeters) and an 8-inch ported wireless subwoofer. It also features Chromecast built-in and Bluetooth for audio streaming. But what’s most notable about the MagniFi 2—aside from its affordable price—is the inclusion of the company’s patented Stereo Dimensional Array (SDA) technology, along with a new 3D Audio Mode that works with SDA tech to “create even more convincing immersive surround and height effects,” according to the company.
Baltimore’s Polk Audio has announced the launch of its Reserve Series loudspeaker lineup.
Following in the wake of the company’s premium, and correspondingly pricey, Legend Series, which debuted in 2019, the Reserve family seeks “to retain as much of the Polk Legend flagship performance as possible within a moderately priced package,” according to the company’s press release.
Polk Audio has launched its latest soundbar, the $249 React. Polk today introduced the Omni S6 wireless stereo speaker. Intended for medium to large rooms, the $350 speaker is the latest addition to the company’s Omni line of wireless speakers.

Dubbed Hampden, the system supports Bluetooth streaming and features an all-wood cabinet with a curved teak wood veneer offset by a white front panel with glass-filled, nylon bezels.
