Vizio today added three HDR-capable 4K models featuring upgraded picture quality to its mid-priced M-Series line of smart TVs.

Vizio has announced details, pricing, and availability for the 32 models that comprise its 2022 TV lineup. You read that right — 2022. Pandemic-driven setbacks pushed the release of its 2020 TVs to late in the year so those models were carried over into 2021. About a third of the new models are currently available, with the remainder slated to ship in July or August. All but eight of the models are 4K.

Vizio has expanded its Google Cast-enabled line of SmartCast audio products, which launched in early June with nine soundbars.

Vizio today unveiled the new SmartCast E-Series of video displays featuring built-in Chromecast streaming, full-array LED backlighting in screen sizes from 32 to 80 inches, and high dynamic range (HDR) capability in models with screens 55 inches and larger.

Vizio has introduced the D-Series of budget-oriented TVs at prices ranging from $150 for a 24-inch edge-lit LED/LCD model to $1,300 for a 70-inch smart TV with full-array LED backlighting.

We previously reported on Vizio’s 2020 TV plans during the last CES, where the TV maker displayed its full line of new products, including OLED models. The company is now starting to ship those sets and has released detailed info on pricing.

Vizio has announced that the three TVs it added to its P-Series in April have arrived in stores and on vizio.com.
