Revel Gets Affordable

Perfectionist speaker brand Revel is taking a good-better-best approach to marketing, with the new Concerta 2 occupying the entry-level part of the spectrum, joining the step-up Performa 3 and step-way-up Salon. The Concerta 2 line includes the F36 tower, a 2.5-way design with three 6.5-inch woofers; the F35 tower, similar but with 5.25-inch woofers; the M16 monitor, with 6.5-inch woofer; the C25 center, 2.5-way with two 5.25-inch woofers; and the S16 surround, with 6.5-inch woofer. All models have a single one-inch tweeter and all drivers are aluminum. Design features include a fourth-generation Acoustic Lens Waveguide. There's also the B10 10-inch sub with 800-watt amp. Pricing ranges from $900/pair for the monitor to $2000/pair for the largest tower.
