Harman went all out again this year with its Synthesis electronics and more JBL speakers than would fit in any domestic space sort of a McMansion. A wall-to-wall, 202-inch wide, 2.35:1 Screen Innovations acoustically transparent screen was filled by a 4K projector from Digital Projection driven by a Kaleidescape 4K server.

Clearly the most elaborate and refined setup I saw at the show, it provided spectacular results with excerpts from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 and Passengers, though in the latter case the selected scenes clearly gave away the end of the movie—not the best choice the those who haven’t yet seen it!
