The STR also has a USB input that accepts direct input from a computer, a major plus; we're shocked that this isn't standard equipment on most stereo and surround gear. The phono stage covers both MC and MM carts.

The STR is rated at 200 watts into eight ohms and can muster up to 600 watts into two ohms. It has a large color front-panel display that makes its numerous options easy to access via remote. It sells for $4499.
