Nothing less than "a new standard in video quality" was promised this month by <A HREF="http://www.siliconoptix.com">Silicon Optix</A> in announcing its new Realta single-chip video processor.
Sharp continues to explore the frontier of what's possible in high-definition LCDs. The company recently announced a new flagship Aquos model, the 45" widescreen LC-45GX6U. The unit is based on Sharp's "next-generation" liquid crystal display panels.
LCD televisions are making great strides toward truly high-definition performance - in particular, the newest models in the Aquos line from <A HREF="http://www.sharpusa.com">Sharp Electronics</A>.
