DTS has announced that 34 new-model-year 2017 cars will be equipped with HD Radio receivers.

Marantz, the iconic company started by audio pioneer Saul Marantz in 1953, is inviting the public to visit a special 7,000-square-foot immersive and interactive exhibit in New York City to celebrate its 70th anniversary.

Marantz has updated its popular Slim Series of AV receivers with two affordably priced, low-profile models that support Alexa voice control and Denon’s Heos wireless multiroom streaming platform.

Marantz has announced that a fee-based firmware upgrade for the new Auro-3D surround-sound format will be available for its SR7009 receiver (shown, $1,999) and the AV7702 preamp/processor ($1,999) in early December. Both models have built-in Dolby Atmos surround sound processing.

Marantz is kicking off its 2016 home theater line-up with an affordable, low-profile 7.2-channel network AV receiver aimed at design- and space-conscious enthusiasts who don’t want to compromise on performance.

Marantz has announced that it is taking orders for the AV 10 and AMP 10 starting today, February 14, 2023. The cost of each component is $7,000 ($14K for the pair) which puts it above AV receivers but still well below some other separates-based home theater AV solutions.

The AV 10 is a new, high-end AV preamp/processor that supports the latest AV formats and delivers an immersive, 3D sound and pristine picture quality. It comes with 15.4 channel processing and supports 8K resolution, making it an ideal choice for serious home theater enthusiasts.
