Vizio Unveils New Entry-Level Smart TVs

Vizio today introduced a dozen new smart TVs in its entry-level D-Series, ranging in price from $140 for a 24-inch HD model to $900 for a 65-inch Ultra HDTV.

All models are said to support the latest HDMI standards and feature full-array LED backlighting with up to 12 active LED zones as well as Vizio’s Internet Apps Plus “onscreen app dock” for simple access to Netflix, iHeartRadio, Xumo, and other apps.

Four of the new models offer 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) resolution and support high-quality streaming with Vizio’s V8 octa-core processor, HEVC decoding, and 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi.

I'm afraid these are DOA compared to TCL's more future tech proof and as cheap 4k TV's.. A competitive marketplace that's for sure.. In India a 4K TV price war has broken out with 20% off all new TV's..
The blood bath here in the US will start late August..
