Monster Introduces ClarityHD Earbuds

Monster today introduced the ClarityHD line of earbuds intended to replace the cheap ’buds that come with smartphones and other portable devices.

Available in wired and Bluetooth wireless versions that sell for $50 and $90, respectively, the earbuds are reinforced at critical stress points to help prevent the fraying and tearing associated with generic earbuds and have flat, tangle-resistant cables with low-profile right-angle connectors that hug the device they’re plugged into. A “balanced acoustic chamber” is said to offer superior noise isolation.

The wireless model has a dual-battery design to increase play time and a USB charging port on the control box. A variety of soft-tips are included with each model to ensure a snug, comfortable fit with ears of different sizes and shapes and the tips attach to a cone-shaped housing that is angled to keep the buds firm during activity.

The wired model is available in black, white, green, and pink while the wireless model comes in black and white.

“The free earbuds you get with phones and portable devices break easily, fail on sound, and are uncomfortable with poor isolation,” said Head Monster, Noel Lee. “Still, we’ve found that many consumers that settle for these inferior earbuds pay to replace them, often multiple times, with the exact same models, despite their dissatisfaction. We’re giving everyone the opportunity to say goodbye to commodity earbuds forever.”
