Bragi, the German Kickstarter-launched company has announced The Headphone, a lower-priced follow-up to its first product, the Dash wireless earbud featuring an integrated gesture-controlled music player and heart tracker.

As you can see from the photo, Bragi’s name choice for The Headphone is puzzling because it’s actually an earbud.

Unlike Dash, it isn’t waterproof and doesn’t have an integrated music player or heart tracker. Instead, it connects to Bluetooth devices and enables wearers to use voice commands to change music tracks and take calls without having to look at a screen.

The Headphone, which has “balanced armature speakers” and comes with three different size ear tips, is available for the pre-order through November 1 at the introductory price of $119 with free shipping; the regular price is $149. Rated battery life is up to 6 hours per charge.
