Cambridge Audio is aiming to set a “new standard for British-designed Bluetooth headphones” with its first wireless earbuds.

Companies have started releasing details of products they plan to introduce at the headphone-focused CanJam SoCal 2019 show that opens tomorrow in Irvine, CA.

It’s been seven long years since I last attended Capital Audiofest, the largest high-end audio show on the east coast of the U.S. This year’s show took place on November 11-13 at the Twinbrook Hilton in Rockville Maryland, which is the same venue as my last visit. The show grew significantly in the interim, with five full floors of the hotel taken up by demos, but it maintains the same casual look and feel and a strong focus on two-channel, audiophile-centric systems.

Tom DeVesto, 40 year consumer electronics industry veteran and Hall of Famer who co-founded Cambridge SoundWorks with AV legend Henry Kloss in 1988 and started Tivoli Audio in 2000, has launched a new venture, Como Audio.

Some 15,000 residential technology professionals will descend upon the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas next Wednesday to attend CEDIA Expo 2022 where they will learn the latest tricks of the trade and explore new gear from more than 300 brands, nearly two-thirds of which specialize in audio/video and home theater. Here’s a sneak peek at what some of this year’s exhibitors are planning.

CEDIA Expo 2023, North America’s largest showcase of smart home and AV entertainment technology, is underway at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. With an estimated attendance north of 18,000, the expo is the place where custom integrators and professionals engaged in the home technology test drive the latest products and services from more than 350 brands spanning 150,000 square feet of exhibit space.
