Verizon Customers to Get 12 Free Months of Disney+

Verizon has announced that it will offer 12 free months of Disney+ to its “4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless” customers when the new streaming service launches November 12.

New Verizon Fios and 5G home internet customers will also be eligible to receive 12 free months of Disney+.

The service will be available on a wide selection of mobile and connected TV devices, including gaming consoles, streaming media players, and smart TVs.

For paying subscribers, Disney+ will cost $7/month or $70/year. A bundle that includes ESPN+ and Hulu will cost $13/month.

Verizon said its customers will be able to enjoy everything Disney+ has to offer, including high-quality and commercial-free viewing, up to four concurrent streams, downloads for offline viewing, personalized recommendations, and the ability to set up to seven different profiles.

In what is shaping up to be a highly competitive video streaming market, Apple is giving anyone who buys a new Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV a one-year subscription to its new Apple TV+ service, which is set to launch November 1. For paying subscribers, Apple TV+ will cost $5/month.
