Track-by-track iTunes Plus Upgrades

A few weeks ago, Apple's iTunes converted most of their library to higher-quality DRM-free content, so you can move it around to whatever computer or player you want that can handle the AAC format. The iTunes Plus was available for new purchases, but you could also upgrade your existing purchases to iTunes Plus, for 30 cents per song or three dollars per album.

The only problem is that until now, you could only upgrade your entire library in one swell swoop.  If you only have a few songs in your library, no problem. Have a few thousand, and it could cost a pretty penny.  Now, you can select which songs you upgrade however many you want. Much better than the previous all or nothing approach. --Leslie Shapiro
