SVSOUND AS-EQ1 Subwoofer Equalizer Page 3

If you live in a tent (there are no standing waves outdoors!) or enjoy a Regency-size ballroom for your listening room, you probably don't need SVSound's AS-EQ1. Otherwise, it may very well improve your system's sound to a significant degree. Just how significant depends on how vexatious your room and system is, and how effective the performance of any Audyssey (or other DSP) processing you already have in your receiver or preamp. And the EQ1 costs 8 Benjamins - a whole shelf's worth of Blu-ray Discs. But what price accurate bass? If you have an underachieving sub - or, especially, two of them - and a troublesome room, SVS's simple black box might as well be pure gold.
