This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the Paradigm Soundscape Sound Bar (purple trace). The left channel was measured with grille at a distance of 1 meter.

The Soundscape’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures + 7.75 /– 3.37 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. An average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +8.59/–3.22 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3dB point is at 43 Hz, and the –6dB point is at 40 Hz.—MJP

This removes the possibility of confusion over the HDMI Return Channel connection for TV audio as well as other potential red flags associated with HDMI connections.
