Features We Miss: At this price, three chips and no color wheel would be nice

Marantz jumped out of the 1080p DLP gate first with the VP-11S1, and if the accolades this projector has received from our sister publication Ultimate AV are an indication, it's the cat's pajamas. Marantz's 720p DLPs have been universally acclaimed, and in recent generations these projector have featured top-shelf video processing by Gennum and high-grade optics by Konica/Minolta to get the most out of DLP technology. Adding 1080p to the mix is expensive, but two million pixels are always the trump card.
