Digital Projection M-Vision Cine LED DLP Projector User Interface

User Interface
As with most projectors I've reviewed, I love the Cine LED's remote. It's simple, fully illuminated, and well-organized, with dedicated input-select buttons as well as direct-access buttons for the most-used main controls. Even better, the remote's IR beam is strong enough to reliably operate the projector by pointing the remote at the screen. My only gripe is the lack of an Exit button—you must back out of the menu system one level at a time. Another minor annoyance is that the input-selection buttons are labeled with numbers rather than the type of input (HDMI, component, etc.).

The menu system is a model of excellent organization and implementation. Entering the system opens the last-accessed page, and you can see all the parameter values immediately. Selecting a picture control causes it to drop to the bottom of the screen while the rest of the menu disappears, and the presence of the control does not affect measurements as it can in some displays.

I have only one problem with the user interface. When accessed through the menu, the controls time out in 30 seconds, which is fine. But if you access them with the dedicated buttons on the remote, they time out in five seconds, which was annoying.
