Niles Updates to Auriel 2.0 with Home Control

Niles Audio, a member of Core Brands, released a major update to its MRC-6430 (Auriel) audio distribution platform with the roll-out of Auriel 2.0. The new upgrade is will include a lot of performance enhancements such as streaming audio, climate and lighting control, plus remote access features and will be available for free to all existing system owners.

A single MRC-6430 chassis can deliver audio to six zones through seven input sources, and two chassis can be linked together to create a 12-zone system. With the 2.0 update, the chassis now natively supports streaming from Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn “and other popular Internet radio services.”

Built on sister company ELAN’s Control Platform, it was a natural progression for Auriel to venture into control, and another major update is adding some lighting and thermostat control to the Auriel platform. This will make the Auriel far more than just a “music distribution” system, and instead a powerful home automamtion controller. The system will work with Z-Wave and wireless IP devices such as lighting control system from Lutron (Caseta and Radio RA2) and Aprilaire thermostats. The Auriel system can also be seamlessly added into an ELAN g! system.

Additional integrator-friendly setup options have been added to the Auriel Wizard to cut down configuration time to just minutes. Auriel allows simple setup via a tablet or PC.

“We’re continuing to refine the Auriel home entertainment experience, expanding from the ‘one touch to music’ philosophy that made it an industry favorite,” Core Brands Software Praduct Manager, Tom McKeon commented. “With the ELAN engine under the hood, Auriel delivers an easy-to-install, entertainment-centric solution that is ideal for entry-level control and multi-unit installations.”

Dealers can download the 2.0 update software for free now at Niles Auriel support site.

It's exciting to hear about Niles Audio's release of Auriel 2.0 and the addition of home automation control. It seems like the system has come a long way from just being a music distribution system. I'm particularly intrigued by the use of ELAN's Control Platform and the addition of lighting and thermostat control. It will be interesting to see how well the Auriel system can seamlessly integrate with other home automation systems such as Lutron's lighting control system and Aprilaire's thermostats.

Speaking of home automation, I recently had epoxy garage flooring (trinitybsc.com) installed in my garage to make it easier to maintain and keep clean. It's amazing how much of a difference it has made in terms of the overall aesthetic of my garage. I wonder if there's a way to integrate my epoxy garage flooring into the Auriel system to control the temperature in my garage during extreme weather conditions.

Now this is awesome, I would love to get this sound system just to recreate that classic scene from pulp fiction where John Travolta doesn't know where the voice comes from as is looking all around the place, to think that the sound system used in that movie is so old now but at the time it was top of the notch equipment!
If you want to have a top-of-the-notch roof then be sure to call Wrothmann Roofing , I think that they're the best roofing company in all of Gainesville Florida.

This is a device that undoubtedly makes a difference both in the quality of sound and in its interface and the user experience it delivers. We had the opportunity to use it in our Productora Audiovisual for a commercial. The location where we recorded had it, and it was very useful for us. We did not know him, and we were surprised.

From what I read, it is a system that still seems current. We're looking for something to improve the quality of life on Termopanel and we think Auriel might be a good solution, but I wonder if they don't have other more recent devices?

I´ve check on this website y they have lot of solution on the hi-fi sound world and the hi technology features, as we expect on Baterias a Domicilio. Not sure if they are already using IoT

I remember hearing this system at a friend's house from Cierre De Balcones. The sound is really spectacular, as well as having a very friendly interface that I could easily use without even knowing it.

It was actually this article I read back in 2016 that convinced me to get the Auriel 2.0 for my home. I had just finished updating the yard with garden design from larixlandscape.com and so I thought it was about time to upgrade the tech inside my home as well. It's been 7 years and my Auriel 2.0 home control system is still going strong. Highly recommend this system!

I´m not and expert on technology, specs and all that but I can say this device works perfect for our need at Empresas De Climatizacion office. It has been year per years and still works great

I saw this team in action when visiting Mudanzas Rancagua. The truth is that I think that having fewer devices is better, but after seeing how it worked, what can be achieved and optimized, in addition to the quality of the product, I find it interesting.
