Totally blows away my two year old Samsung but my next TV will have HDMI 2.1 and ATSC 3.0.

I purchased my Samsung 65JS9500 in April 2016 (model year 2015) for a great price.
I would love to replace it with the Vizio Quantum.
Unfortunately is only available in 65", my next main display must be at least 75".
Most importantly, HDMI 2.1 and ATSC 3.0 is a must.
It's bad enough that 3D is dead on all high end TV displays.
My Samsung is both 4k (with HDR) and 3D. It was the last model year they marketed their high end TV's with both.
If 4k is the only game in town, then all connections must be future prove for then next five years.
Hopefully, next model year, Vizio will market a 75" Quantum series with at least HDMI 2.1.

why do you need HDMI 2.1?? no need. most features can be implemented on 2.0. unless you plan on doing 8K. also, i'm willing to be atsc 3 will get no use. tv providers aren't going to make massive changes to their OTA setups and spend a bunch of money for people to use for free.

hdmi 2.1 can be futureproof for at least 5 years since it can transfer 12 bit 4:4:4 4k120 uncompressed video while hdmi 2.0 can only transfer 12 bit 4:2:2 4k60 max uncompressed.

so you get 120 fps which is ultra smooth frame rate. 60 fps is very smooth but 120 fps is ultra smooth. atsc 3.0 also supports 4k120 for future programs and tvs that support it. :)
