Sony launches registration for Google TV app development site

Sony is gearing up for apps specific to its products only a few days after the reveal of the company's Google TV-powered Internet TV products. Electronista found that Sony just launched the Android Developer Fight for Android development for its products.

The site is very low on details now, with only a few lines of text talking about "exciting news" forthcoming for the Sony Internet TV. It promises to eventually have support for Android development for Internet TV products, including techniques, images, and and examples. Sony doesn't plan to see Android apps specific for its products until 2011, but it's clearly planning to develop an Android developer sub-community dedicated to its products.
