Sonos Limited Edition Play:1 Goes on Sale March 5
Sonos announced that a limited edition Blue Note version of the popular Play:1 wireless speaker will go on sale Thursday for $250 at sonos.com. The company said 2,000 units were made for distribution in North America and 2,000 in Europe; shipping is free.
In addition to a custom blue fade design inspired by the iconic, 75 year-old Blue Note jazz label, Sonos created a Blue Note channel featuring music chosen by the label’s artists as well as favorite picks from producer Don Was; the channel is built into the Sonos app.
