Razer announces new Orca headphones

Razerorca

Gaming peripheral company Razer is pushing into the music space with its just-announced Orca headphones. While Razer has made several audio products in the past, they have all been targeted specifically at a gaming audience, while the Orca is being pitched as appropriate for music-lovers as well as gamers.

The headphones feature a frequency response of 15 to 21,000 Hz, giving it impressive bass response according to Razer. It comes with a 2-meter extension cable, so users can "plug and switch" between music and gaming uses; the headphones can work without the extension cable while playing music from an iPad, and can then plug right into the extension cable at your desk for computer gaming. The headphones will retail for $60 when they hit stores worldwide later this year.
