L/R Sensitivity:
88 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz

Center Sensitivity:
88 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz

Surround Sensitivity:
86 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz

This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the Imagine T2 L/R (purple trace), Imagine C center channel (green trace), Imagine S surround (red trace), and SubSeries 300 subwoofer (blue trace). All passive loudspeakers were measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes.

The Imagine T2’s listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +0.69/–3.55 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. The –3-dB point is at 49 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 41 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 3.29 ohms at 572 Hz and a phase angle of –40.39 degrees at 36 Hz.

The Imagine C’s listening-window response measures +3.22/–2.11 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. An average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +2.87/–1.87 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 52 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 41 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 6.11 ohms at 186 Hz and a phase angle of –54.40 degrees at 106 Hz.

The Imagine S’s three-face averaged response in bipole mode measures +3.14/–4.0 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 84 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 73 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 5.82 ohms at 195 Hz and a phase angle of –57.04 degrees at 114 Hz.

The SubSeries 300’s close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 23 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 21 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 147 Hz using the LFE input.—MJP
