PSB has kicked off CEDIA 2010 by unveiling the CS1000, the newest addition to its CustomSound speaker series. The CS1000 is a remarkably flexible speaker, built for both indoor and outdoor use with a mounting bracket that enables placement almost anywhere.

The speaker features a 6.5-inch cone woofer couples with a 1-inch tweeter, all built inside a UV-resistant polypropylene cabinet with an aluminum grill. It comes with a two-axis bracket that can be rotated 90 degrees and 170 degrees on either axis, depending on whether it's mounted horizontally or vertically. They're obviously best suited for outdoor use, but the mounting bracket could make it handy for any situation where you might want to wall- or ceiling-mount your speakers.

The CS1000 speakers are available in black or white finishes, and retail for $499 per pair.
