Amazing how Parasound swore to everyone when releasing their C2 processor that it is future proof and they will do they right thing by all customers of the C2 processor by upgrading it as technology improved.Stay away from these guys!

Some things just can't be future proofed i don't think anyone INCLUDING Parasound was prepared for HDMI and the new high bandwidth audio and video codecs they did the best they could, the cost of doing an all out upgrade was so substantial that it just needed a new Processor. I personally am the proud owner of a C2 and my relatives a C1. I am looking forward to the new one coming out and upgrading it! It holds it value and its a bullet proof product! Go Richard, Paul and the other guys and Parasound!

Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed! There is a difference between the immediate future, and eternity. You can't "Future Proof" anything indefinately. There were several firmware upgrades to the C2 and C1 proscessors as well as an external HDMI switcher produced and the units have multichannel analoge inputs. So you can whine about future proofing all you want, but as far as I'm concerned the C1 and C2 have been excellent products and still are perfectly usable units. Parasound has made every attempt to support their products the best that can be expected of them and more. You can't complain that they are comming out with an improved product. Frankly I'm very excited to see what they have in store! Hats off to Parasound, and keep up the excellent work!

I am a customer of Listening in Style at Shangri-la Mall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines. I bought HALO A51 Amplifier but I don't have the HALO C3 HD Processor as Parasound said that the date of release for the said processor was moved to summer instead of January 2009. What I heard is that, the said processor will only be released either by September or October 2009. Is this true? May I know as to why the processor is now Made in China? Unlike before, the Classic processor was made in Finland. Any reasons?BERNARD PAUL M. PONFERRADAPhilippines
