Panasonic's Stealth OLED

While some of the competition (particularly LG) went all out for OLED this year (though OLED was hardly the talk of the show, an honor reserved for 4K) Panasonic didn't make any OLED product announcements. But they haven't been sitting on their hands. Last year the company demonstrated a 4K OLED produced by a printing technique, which promises to make OLED more affordable. This year they showed a serpentine gaggle of curved, interconnected, 4K OLEDs. A bit gimmicky, perhaps, but very impressive. It also demonstrated that while Panasonic may be out of plasma and into LCD for the moment, it's looking forward to an OLED future. As are we.
