Olympic fever is here. Are you watching in HD?

We're smack-dab in the middle of the Olympics (well, day 5 out of 17), and while the opening ceremonies didn't have the Cirque du Soleil-meets-Bravehard sense of epic theatrical scale the 2008 Beijing Olympics had, it's still a great event for any fan of winter sports. It's also a great event for any fan of HDTV.

Over the Olympics, NBC will be broadcasting 835 hours of high-definition Olympic coverage over its various channels (NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, and USA). That's over 34 days of Olympic events in HD, packed into just 17 days. We've come pretty far since the Olympics were first broadcast in HD in 2004.
