L/C/R Sensitivity: 87 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz

Surround Sensitivity: 85.5 dB from 500 Hz to 2 kHz

This graph shows the quasi-anechoic (employing close-miking of all woofers) frequency response of the V large L/C/R (purple trace), V woofer subwoofer (blue trace), and V small surround (red trace). All passive loudspeakers were measured with grilles at a distance of 1 meter with a 2.83-volt input and scaled for display purposes.

The V large's listening-window response (a five-point average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal and vertical responses) measures +3.00/–1.44 decibels from 200 hertz to 10 kilohertz. In horizontal mode, an average of axial and +/–15-degree horizontal responses measures +2.99/–1.67 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 108 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 94 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 5.76 ohms at 1.4 kHz and a phase angle of –62.80 degrees at 139 Hz.

The V small's listening-window response measures +1.12/–2.07 dB from 200 Hz to 10 kHz. The –3-dB point is at 109 Hz, and the –6-dB point is at 90 Hz. Impedance reaches a minimum of 5.36 ohms at 1.3 kHz and a phase angle of –66.51 degrees at 120 Hz.

The V woofer's close-miked response, normalized to the level at 80 Hz, indicates that the lower –3-dB point is at 53 Hz and the –6-dB point is at 39 Hz. The upper –3-dB point is at 250 Hz with a peak of +4.59 dB at 154 Hz.—MJP
