Networked LG BD370 Blu-ray Player's Japanese Release

Sleek and shiny new LG Blu-ray players will be hitting the shelves, but only in Japan. The BD370 is a networked Blu-ray player, with BD-Live and YouTube support. Alas, no Netflix, no CinemaNow. For now. Set for a Q2 release in Japan, there's no word on US pricing or release date.

The BD370 has FullHD 1080/24p and support for AVCHD and DivX, MP3 and WMA playback, and a front-panel USB port. Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio are also supported.

The minimal front panel has a center control button that will illuminate blue when it's playing a Blu-ray disc, and red when playing other discs. Clever.  --Leslie Shapiro
