Man From U.N.C.L.E. Soundtrack Out Today

The soundtrack to The Man From U.N.C.L.E., which opens in theaters Friday, August 14, is now available on CD or for download at iTunes and Amazon.

Mostly written by composer Daniel Pemberton, the soundtrack features performances by Roberta Flack, Louis Prima, and Nina Simone.

The film is set during the 1960s Cold War era, allowing Pemberton to musically explore the period while adding contemporary elements from around the world. The composer describes the score as a “kaleidoscope of international color,” with the sounds of cimbaloms, flutes, guitars, bongos, and more incorporated into the music.

A fresh take on the popular 1960s television series, the film was directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo and Armie Hammer as Illya Kuryakin.
