Klipsch Unveils Flagship Earhone

Klipsch is hailing its new flagship in-ear headphone as the brand’s “most revealing” in-ear design to date.

Crafted from injection-molded surgical-grade stainless steel for high durability and sporting a black stainless finish, the $549 X20i is based on a “true two-way dual armature design” with a woofer and super tweeter.

The X20i includes a selection of five different size oval ear tips said to naturally fit the contours of the ear canal and provide “comfortable long-term wear.” The patented tips are designed to create a noise isolating seal, which enhances bass, and avoid the stress circular-shaped ear tips put on pressure points inside the ear.

Other features include an interchangeable cable, an Apple-compatible three-button microphone/remote, and a leather travel case. The x20i is covered by a one-year warranty

“We always work to simplify and improve, and our two discrete balanced armatures achieve less distortion and higher clarity than models with twice as many components,” said Vlad Grodzinskiy, senior manager of headphone product development.
