Integra Introduces Network-Ready Stereo Receiver

Offering a preview of what it will show at CEDIA Expo in Dallas in two weeks, Integra has updated the classic stereo receiver with its new DTM 40.7 network-ready stereo receiver.

Available for $600, the “reference quality” receiver has an anti-vibration chassis with an anti-resonant aluminum front panel and is rated to deliver 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 110 into 6 ohms. It features a “non-phase-shift amp design,” said to improve stereo imaging, and hand-selected components, including an AKM 32-bit DAC, a high-power transformer, and custom-built high-current capacitors.

The DTM-40.7 supports playback of high-resolution files (including DSD and FLAC) via its USB port and wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (version 2.1), and Apple AirPlay. It also provides access to Internet radio and music streaming services including Pandora, Spotify Connect, Slacker, SiriusXM, Deezer, and TuneIn Radio.

The receiver can be controlled by the Integra Remote app and offers flexible connectivity with four digital audio inputs (two optical/two coaxial), six analog inputs, two analog outputs, and a phono input. It also supports two zones of audio with independent bass, treble, and balance controls and is designed for easy integration into a wholehouse audio system with features such as RS232 and IP control with support for two-way Ethernet communications, programmable 12V triggers, and auto-power on/wake-up via optical audio sensing for integrating sources like AppleTV and Sonos.
